Well, now I have it, and it`s copy of academy. … Not bad, but with some stupid details like BIG line across the canopy. How can I get rid of that line?

First of all ; WELCOME…

I have the original Academy version, haven’t built it yet, but I did manage to get rid of that dreadfull canopy-line.
First you have to raid your wife’s (girlfriend’s) beautycase to find her nail polishing equipment.
Of course going to the pharmacy and buying one yourself could proof far less dangerous.
Next thing is you start sanding that line first with the coarse grain and than getting finer and finer. After you have used the fines grain (on my stick it is the pink one) you already have some of the gloss back.
To get even more gloss you can use Tamya’s Finishing Compound, or if you live in the USA, you get yourself a bottle of Johnsons Future (floorpolish) and dip your canopy in it.

and yes Johnsons Future (floorpolish) :slight_smile: Here we have Pronto cera pavimenti floorpolish for that. So Academy original kit also have that problem?

Avoid What. Trumpeter Su-27? Well, its too late for that. I already have it. Here in croatia its 3x cheaper than academy, and it`s worth that money.

I have been to several places in the balkans and found it to be beautiful country. I went to Belgrade, Zagreb, Sarajevo, and Dubrovnik; this was about 16 years ago. I heard Dubrovnik was bombed somewhat during the recent unpleasantness; is it still in good shape? What a beautiful town. I hope your canopy repair comes out well.
