Trumpeter KV1 series. Anything as good in general?

I am a noobee and was pointed to the Trumpeter KV1 kits.I was told the quality for cost was exceptional,and i agree.Better than some kits i paid almost double for.

The trouble is i have done all the series of kits.Is there any other gems out there similar to the Trumpeter KVs. I mean good price and quality.I have just found out that not all Trumpeter kits are as good as the KVs!!!

Trumpeter is not a brand i was really aware of so perhaps there is something else to take their place.

tamiya kits are good for the begginers, they have OKAY detail, really good fit, and they have really little parts compared to dragon.

I’m assuming you’ve been building in 1/35th, you could always move into the 1/48th scale KV’s. Tamiya makes two different variants(one w/applique armor) of the KV-I and they make the KV-II. All of which are pretty good quality, I’ve built the KV-I w/applique armor and have no complaints.
