Trumpeter F4U-1D Corsair on the shelves! (Japan)

Hi, folks![:)]
Just popped into a local hobby shop today, and they had the new Trumpeter F4U-1D Corsair for 5,000 yen ($43 US). I don’t know what that means as far as the rest of the world goes, but it’s out here in Japan.

I’m waiting for the F4U-4!

Forgive me for replying to my own post, but has anyone heard anything about the accuracy and quality of these kits?

I haven’t heard much yet, Brian, but it has to be leaps and bounds above the old Revell offering. That kit was terrible! Knowing Trumpeter, better invest in a new cockpit.

Gents;
Just looked at Trumpeters website under ‘new releases’
both versions are scheduled for release in October which begins… Wednesday!!! I’m going to be camping out at “the Spare time shop” To pick up my samples as soon as the doors open.[8D]
