I bought this beautiful model several years ago from an eBay sale. When I finally opened the box, too much time had passed for any recourse if a problem arose. To my surprise, while sorting the parts, I found that a very important piece was missing. It was the “A” part, the fuselage. Although I would have preferred to work through the seller or eBay, time was not on my side. My goal is now to find the missing part. I haven’t heard back from Trumpeter about purchasing this part. Any ideas that might work would be appreciated. This model will have to wait as I search for a replacement.

First of all, Welcome to the forum. Glad that your here. As for the missing part, eBay is where I go to purchase missing parts, and decals. There’s always someone who will sell individual sprue trees from a complete kit. I just went to eBay. In the search bar, I typed in “1/32 F-105D”. One entire sprue tree was around $9 dollars, (not including shipping) . This seller is here in the United States.Hope this helps.

Where are you located geographically? Maybe a 3D scan and print? Maybe cast In resin?
