Hello, all. First time for me to post on here. I’ve read some really good stuff on here. Sounds like some good knowledgeable people out there.
Hobby Craft/Trumpeter Challenger MBT. Anyone build one of these? I’m having some fit problems. So far it’s been a little on the frustrating side. I built the Trumpeter AS-90 with no trouble. What gives?
Thanks for any help. M-60 A3
The Trumpeter/Hobbycrap Challenger (2)? I presume is what you are talking about. Yes it is a pain in the buttocks. It can be built into a fairly decent vehicle, but you will need to work at it. Especially around the tool boxes. I recommend stretched sprue to fill in the larger areas before you attemt putty because of the large numbers or recessed bolt areas around there.
Here is the link to the one I built. If you would like some referrence pictures, I have plent of the Challenger 2.

Thanks for your reply, Scorn. Stretched sprue? As in heating and filling in gaps? I don’t know too many tricks or too much jargon yet.
As for replies, I live in the country with no land line. Hence no home computer. I have to use the one at work, so sometimes it might take awhile for me. Strange schedule. (firefighter) But, hey thanks man. I look forward to learning more.
[#welcome]to the darkside, this forum is a great place to be,so have fun [:D]
Here is a review for you. I have heard it is good, not as nice as Tamiya’s new one, but very workable and a lot more affordable.
