How’s the detail on Trumpeter kits as opposed to Acadmey or Tamiya?
It depends upon when the kits were built. The newer trumpeter kits will compete. Some of the olders kits are a little soft on detail.
What can you say about the JS-3m?
I have the 1/35 Abrams. I find the kit has excellent detail.
Looks can be deceiving. It looked fine in the box, but construction was another thing. Lots of putty and fit was poor.
It’s a very good kit. I believe it to be the equal to the Tamiya kit. I do recommend replacing the tracks as they are stiff vinyl and don’t give that characteristic russian sag.
