hello all,

I see that my LHS has the model mentioned. IT seems interesting. My questions are these?

Is there photo etch available? IS the scale really 550 or is it 700? Can I use 700 scale railing?

Concerning the aircraft: is there photo-etch available for these? this scale planes available?

For those who have been following. My Pamir has not pogressed at all. I had to wait for some books, which just last Friday arrived. I think I will complete the Santa Maria first and than moe on to my Pamir. eehh, what fun. THe books are such an inspiration and help. Thanks all for the recommendations.

At first, it looked like you said 1/350th… which would be too nice of a surprise… Just imagine it next to their Admiral Kuznetsov… and while we’re at it, is that a Kirov? But at least we can dream.

I seem to recall that the model in question was 1/500th., btw. A bit of an odd scale, I might say.
