Trumpeter 1/48th scale Wyvern S.4 "Early Version"

Hi Fellow FSMers,

Does anyone know if the Trumpeter Wyvern S.4 “Early Version” model kit in 1/48th scale includes a gearbox just like the Trumpeter Wyvern S.4 “Late Version” model kit in 1/48th scale? Thanks in advance for your responses!

If you are talking about kit 02843, yes it does. At least mine does.

Thanks for the confirmation. I had read the review for both this kit and for the late version kit that was issued before on the Cyber Modeler web site. They had almost identical descriptions and photos for each except for the fact about the the differences in the two versions’ cockpit canopies. They do have a photo of the two different canopies in both kit reviews but they had a photo of the propellers’ movable engine gearbox in only the late version kit’s review.
