Trumpeter 1/48 Buccaneer S.2D

This is brand new out from Trumpeter, and this build is just OOB. I have an Airfix Buccaneer in my stash and comparison shows differences in fusealge shape. Also the ejection seats are very different in size between kits. They both go together the same pretty much, so it’s a modular build front nose section, mid fuselage section and tail fuselage section. The tail to mid fuselage section required filling and sanding on this one as the join is not a natural panel line. This one has the open nose option, Airfix does not. This is a pretty good kit but could do with AM decals for the cockpit as this one has the usual basic ones without much detail.

That’s some cheap corn! :rofl: Great looking build Grant. I didn’t know Tumpeter did a Buccaneer. That’s a really nice job. Which gray is that? Looks awesome
