Raider, we all know you’re a man of few words. But it’s awfully hard to get anything out of uncaptioned photos.
Sorry about that. I’m starting my waterline build of CVA-64 as she was in Nam. She would be added to my Tonkin Gulf series. J.F.K will be a full hull Nam build.

So to follow, you bought 63 and it will become 64. Excuse my ignorance, is that 67 another kit or a bash of another 63 kit?
J.F.K CVA-67 is a another carrier that I am building.
I just figured he was miming [:D]
“This is the Constellation cruising against the wind…”
How much modification to do you have to do, for your conversion?
Not that much.

nothing is glue down. working the transom and stern area, portside aft hangar bay and opening work on also.
Noble task you have. Good Luck!
Looks like a good start. How much kit parts and how much is scrached?
I’m doing the fantail area mostly scratch. The hangar bay bulkheads scratch also. Shapeways just me my stuff I order from them. Gregg the designer of these things is great. He’s making the curve aft sponsons for my backdated Connie. Photo of the parts.
Have a hangar bay update tonight.

Really nice work!! What are you using for references?
Also looks like a prime candidate for some lighting inside that hangar bay.
Just google a lot of photos. Some were useless others just did help out. I just got word tonight that the cruve sponson on Connie were made. Going to order from Shapeways now. No sir I will not light this one up. Maybe J.F.K.
