One of the main reasons, Trumpeter is at the top of my list. A wide range of 1/32nd scale subjects. The only Trumpeter kit that gave me problems was the 1/32nd scale Corsair. (Ejector pin marks out the Wazzu!!!). This kit was well engineered. No fit problems. The intake needed some work, but not to much. Aries cockpit was the only upgrade. Painted with Tamiya paints. I used Tamiya’s accent panel wash for the nooks and crannies.
Really nice work Chris, she came out great.

Beautiful Crusader. Clean and sharp. Always loved these odd ducks. My uncle worked on them as a Marine, in aviation ordnance. His fave too.
The base and display is excellent too. Did you fabricate that, or is it one of Bill’s?
Beautiful build Chris. I’m a big fan of the Crusader and all the big gaping yaw birds like the A-7 and F-86. Brilliant!
Ooooo Chris, now that’s sexy!! I like the subtle panel shading and the weathering is just right! For the panel shading, was that done by pre shading or after the fact?
Happy Modeling,
Mike
Thank you, sir. I made the base.
Thank you. It was applied as the very last step. I wanted to take some of the darkness out of the black decals. After each individual panel was done, I very lightly hit the Decals to somewhat simulate fading.
You are most welcome Chris! Ah ok cool! It’s funny, when it comes to me doing the panel lines, I always try a different method.
You’d think once I found a said method that I liked, I’d keep at it right? Nope lol
Happy Modeling,
Mike
Awesome build,base makes it
