Well, this isn’t your typical A-10. I wanted to do something unique. The A-10 demonstration team from the 2021-2022 season. Painted in South East Asia colors, and dedicated to USAF pilots who either paid the ultimate sacrifice, or became POW’s during the Vietnam conflict.
The construction was pretty straightforward. No real issues to speak of. The plane only needed 5 pylon stations. No bombs or missiles. Once construction was complete, everything was primed with Tamiya primer. I used MRP paints for the SEA colors. I added some additional details to the landing gear (Eduard).
Here are some of the upgrades. The cockpit was a mix of Black Box resin upgrade, and Quinta Studios. The canopy is from AFV club. Wheels and figures are from ResKit, engine upgrades from GT Resin. The decals are from Two Bobs. I had to get decals made for the pilot and both crew chiefs.

That SEA camo really pops on an A-10!
A tremendous display, and a great tribute to the demo team. It looks like the kind of thing you’d see on base in a visitor’s waiting area.
