From 2023. This kit is not very nice, awful amount of ejection pin marks in awkward places. Turned out OK, but not a fun build. Extras used - Quickboost resin engine
- Montex masks (Markings are painted)
- Red Fox Studio acrylic instrument panels.
- Quickboost resin seat
- DefModels resin wheels.

For giving you as much trouble as Trumpeter builds seem to always give, you sure did a bang up job on this Grant. For some reason, this same thing with the injector pin marks is a Trumpeter wide thing across a good number of kits. I built their 1/24 scale Bf109K a little over a decade ago and could never get over all of the pin marks and in all the wrong places at that. What you’ve done here with this build is award worthy for how good it turned out despite all of the pin marks and over engineering that seem to plague Trumpeter kits.
I see you did about the same thing I did a few years ago. I built a 1/48 Revell F4U Corsair thinking it was going to be quick and easy build. WRONG!!! Before I knew it, I was in too deep to turn back as it was a gift to a good friend of mine who loves Corsairs. “Shoulda Woulda Coulda” moments were commonplace throughout the build as I wished I could’ve built a Tamiya kit instead (which I had in the stash).

This build looks great! The Corsair was a “Beast” of a plane! With the Tamiya 1/32 kits out there you don’t see many of these Trumpeter kits anymore.

Great job on your Corsair. I can see subtle weathering in your paint job.
