Trumpeter 1/32 A-6E Intruder (pix)

Haven’t heard anything about a release date.

wow! Thats all I can say. I really enjoy the 1/32 scale planes. There is alot you can do to a large scale model. At my age there just plane easy to build. Does anyone remember Marcos Minitures? They produced a 1/32 scale B-25 H/J several years ago. The kit is still in the box and is a nice kit. My reason for not building the kit is the canopy being a vacuform and is hazy and thick. I’ve learned about using Future to take some of the haze out and plan to build the kit later this year after I do my home work. O did I mention that I’m going to get that 1/32 A-6E when it hit the market. lol. I wish I could have seen the pix. My pc wouldnt open them up. A foooooie!

I wish they’d give us some decent 1/48 standard a/c like an F-100 before jumping to all this 1/32 stuff. But then, I’m just mad because I have neither the money nor the space for all the beauties, so it’s probably just sour grapes. Still, I want a full, nice shelf of the entire Century series, and a good F-100 kit is what’s missing. The old Monogram warhorse just doesn’t cut it any more. For that matter, we could do with a new 1/48 scale Thud, too, because Monogram’s Thuds are also looking pretty dated. The F-105 holds up pretty well, and except for raised panel lines, the F-102 by Monogram is modern in every other way a kit can be, I suppose. The F-106, though 22 years old, still builds up nicely, but again has raised panel lines. But on that plane, if you look at a real one, you’d do well to leave off the panel lines all together, or merely suggest them somehow. Ah well, sooner or later, everything will be kitted. We’re seeing things now that even ten years ago or less we never dreamed would come out in kit form, or in 1:32 scale.

In regards to the 1/35 Chinook, I’ll tell you what ‘’''it" means. It means a lot of treadheads over at the darkside over yonder are going to become rotor heads over in the helo forum. And, the same will probably ring true in the helo section. The dioramas are just waiting to be built.
