I just got this kit today. I wonder what are my options when it comes to aftermarket accessories…

tell me all you know please. I like to get as much as I can.

By the way, is it safe to coat Testors enamel coat over Tamiya acrylics? Two guys at the hobby store said it’s not safe.

I have the regular Trumpeter A-10 and have bought so much stuff for it I can’t remember everything. I have all the Eduard sets, both Verlindens sets, resin wheels…you name it. Someday I’ll actually get around to building it!

Here’s what I want:

Cockpit, I want the best aftermarket cockpit available.

Tires, the rubber tires that came with the kit is too bare. I want an improvement here.

Decals. The decals that came with the kit isn’t good enough because the letterings for the weapons are “blobs”, which shouldn’t be for this scale.

Let’s talk about these three first.

How does the kit straight out of the box look? Personally, I’m not really into the aftermarket detail scene and one day I may build this hog.
