Trumpeter 1/200 HMS Hood

Was just over looking for a book at Freetime, and they are taking pre-orders on Trumpy’s new release, due out this summer…

That is very cool. Can a 1/200 Ark Royal be far behind???

I can see a dio on either end of a huge living room with Hood and Bismarck throwing shells at each other…

25000 yards at 1/200 is still a football field…

Hmmmm???

Goldhammer, I guess you’ll have to buy a bigger house!

LMAO…I live in a 12x60 mobile…with the artifacts of 5 people (mine, wife’s, her mom’s and daughter’s, and my mom’s), Ain’t happening to me.

I doubt I would live long enough to build either even if I had the space for one. Want to do the 1/72 Gato, but no room for that either. The 1/144 version will be going to the Vets home.

All good things come to those who wait. I had to wait till Most of the kids moved out to get out of the garage and into an empty room. My "hobby room " is a 14 x16 with a double closet. so happy now. Just give it a little time and you will get yours too. Happy building…Oh, and by the way. I’m wishing Trumpter would consider a 1/200 USS BUSH or Reagen

Sadly, all the the above are gone, so that’s why I said “artifacts”. The spouse turned into a hoarder first class after her strokes, and each mini one made it worse. I have to deal with stuff piled to the ceiling and then some.

When you factor in that I have 20% heart function, and have been basically on borrrowed time since 2010, I really am not able to deal with what I should deal with. Thankfully, there is no family to burden with any of it. My bud 45 miles away will get to haul it all away when I am gone, or he can do what I told him and take the valuables and walk away from the rest.

I’m on the waiting list for the Hood and the Mikasa, so obviously I love battlewagons, but I would love to see Trumpeter or Merit step outside of the military sphere for their next projects. Let’s have a 1/200 Titanic or Queen Mary, with Pontos upgrade sets!!

I saw some pictures from the Nuremberg Toy gig of the Hood, and man, she looked tempting but like you, I do not have the room to put that behemoth. I’m still trying to figure out where I am going to put the 1/72 Gato when I finish her.
