Trivia Series #7, Question #2

This aircraft is a low wing monoplane first manufactured shortly before World War II. It was designed to be a safe fixed-wing aircraft and the type still enjoys a very faithful following today. Designers strove to create a reasonably priced aircraft that would not stall or spin. It sold at a cost of $2,665 dollars in 1946. It was produced by several different companies during it’s life and is the only extant tricycle aircraft that meets a certain FAA definition.
