This was an experimental aircraft of the 1950s. In April, 1951, two prototypes were ordered. This aircraft was a complete departure from existing designs and had a very unusual appearance. It was turboprop powered and was of single seat design. It made it’s first successful flight in 1954. Due to power plant problems, this aircraft never realized it’s design potential, and it was cancelled in 1955. The first prototype was given to another manufacturer for testing, the second was used as a gate guard in southern California. The first prototype was eventually given to a museum.
