Trio of Jugs

Came across this photo today and just love it. Can’t you just hear those moster radials roar? Makes me want to drop everything and crack open a P-47 kit right now! [:D]

Great pic of some beautiful restorations. Thanks for sharing.

Regards, Rick

That’s awesome!

I’m usually just happy to see jugs in pairs… ::rimshot::

Thanks folks, I’m here all week…make sure to tip the waitresses.

Nice tight formation. I love those things!! But the Razorback has a special place in my heart.

This picture came from the “Thunder Over Michigan” air show last year at Willow Run near Detroit. What you didn’t see was 8 yes 8 B17’s in the air at one time! Absolutely wonderful. This year they will feature Spits and a Lancaster among the other favorites. Jump on the internet and look for Thunder Over Michigan, you won’t be disappointed!

There are many more sites with pictures from the event. Have fun.

I’ve got some walk around photos of the wicked wabbit and the hun hunter. I’ll post them tonight.

They are on display at the tennessee museum of aviation right now.

ps1scw - 8 B17’s would be a fantasic sight!

oleander13 - some walk around pics of those birds would be so cool!

oh, i was expecting something about Total Recall… [:)]

Great picture. What would have made it better would have been a Razor Back in that formation.[8-]

Ok I’ve got around 20 photos, so I’ll post them in blocks and update when I’m done

Here are a couple photos of the engine. This is the R-2800 from Pratt and Whitney which was used on the P47, F6F Hellcat, F4U Corsair, A26, and B26.

Now for some Aircraft Photos.

Sorry if they’re blurry. I was using my fiance’s digital camera. Hope you guys enjoy!

Great pics.

I saved a bunch, and I used the one of the 3 A/C for my wallpaper.

Thanks,
