tracks for Revell Leopard 2a4 in 1/35???

I just picked up the Revell 1/35 Leopard 2a4 to complete my collection, and was mortified to learn upon opening the box that it has the SAME horrendous tracks as Italeri uses–those two-piece rubber-band-wannabe’s! WAAAAHH!![BH]

So does anyone know if anyone has seperate link-by-link tracks available? I know AFV has some, but have been told that they’re not available in the US.

Anyone got a set of old ESCI tracks they wanna part with, or trade?

Hey Doog, don’t think there’s really a problem with the tracks, I used mine, and they worked fine… that’s the nice thing about side skirts on Modern stuff! Here’s mine:

edit wow, never mind man, didn’t realize till after I posted you were talking about a Leo TWO LOL…

You can try contacting Tamiya see if you can get a set of replacment tracks from their Leo2 kits.

Hmm, that’s quite a good idea; I’ll have to explore that idea! Does anyone have a site?

Try Tamiya.com?

AFV Club make a set of “workable” Indy-link Leo 2 tracks. I’m not sure if they are the appropriate pattern for a 2A4 though. Part number AF 35S09

Thanks Phil–I tried finding them; they’re the parts that I was told I couldn’t get![BH] Something about “anything with the “S” in the part number, our distributor can’t get”![sigh]

I’ll try Tamiya.com…DUH?! (why didn’t I think of that?![%-)])

LuckyModel has them listed as “In Stock”

Sweeeeetttt!!! The Marder… let me know how it looks, always wanted to build one of these!
