track links

hello.can someone help me with a tecnic on how to build the track on a nashhorn 164…i am having a hard time puting them together, they come separte links.i tried tape.it didn’t work…e mail me musolinius@yahoo.com.thanks

Use a ruler and glue them together in runs of 10 or so or more. Let the glue dry for a while and then shape the tracks around the idlers and drive sprokets. Here is pic to give you an idea of what I mean. It’s simpler to post here than to send you an email [;)]

Here is my variation on individual track links. I hope this helps…

I use a metal ruler to keep the runs straight. I’ll build in sections of 5-10 runs for the straight track sections, then just 5 link sections for the curved parts. Once built up, I’ll leave for about 10 minutes for the glue to begin to set (depends on what kind of glue you use. I use Tamiya regular cement, and even 10 minutes is a little too long) then curve them around the idlers and runners. I use masking tape to hold it in place until it is fully set.
