Ok here is the dealio.
On the militaryhobbies.ca site, when going to the Zvezda section, the model which should be the Russian SU-47 is infact the SU-37 which is totally a different plane. The plane I am looking for is the SU-47 which somes right up on the title site of the Zvezda site, www.zvezda.org.ru
That is the SU-74, its nice isint it?
But, the description on the militaryhobbies site http://www.militaryhobbies.ca/product.cfm?ProductID=1613
of the SU-47 tells me that its the SU-37.
Even on the box art from the militaryhobbies site, it claims its the C-37

That a/c is also made by Italeri and they call it S-37 Berkut.

I´ve got a calender at home with russian a/c and I think that they call it something else, but I don´t think it´s SU-47!? I´ll check it when I get home.
I´ve got that kit at home and yes, it´s a very nice aircraft!

Yes - that’s interesting - references I find on Google have both types of aircraft (the forward swept wing a/c and the more conventional a/c) BOTH classed as Su-37 AND Su-47 - maybe one is a variant of the other - I don’t know enough about Soviet a/c to be able to give you a definitive answer.
I’m sure someone out there will know.
I was discussing this with my dad some time ago, and he said that the russians changed the entire name when a new verision came out. Unlike the US and Sweden for exampel (F-14A F-14B) and the UK Mk. I, II, III and so on. Maybe SU-47 is a “SU-37B”

Hey, thanks guys.
I posted this before going to bed, I though this will not make any sense. But seems like you guys know whats going on [:D]
Its great to know that Italeri has the same a/c.
also, yesterday when I went to the LHS, I have seen a KAMOV heli kit with both the italeri logo and the zvezda.[:p]
On another note, its a shame that Zvezda does not have good reviews. For the mount of models they make, they should up the quality a bit. They have some great stuff, but now I am afraid to buy zvezda stuff.
They have a nice selection of Kamov helicopters and the MiG a/c.

DO you guys know who ealse makes a good amount of MiG`s a/c or the Kamov KA-58 model in the above link.
Thanks
academy has a few good mig kits.
The Russians have made a habit of changing their designations. Just look at the history of the SU-27 line.
It can be confusing at times to keep up with.
