I am a bit confused as to how this works.
If I either make a post and click the reply notify box, or just view a thread and click “watch this topic”, I do get an email telling me that there is one. But once I go and view the thread again, it seems to get turned off after that one time reviewing.
Do I have to reset it after each time I after I have revisited the thread? That seems to be the only thing that works.
If I may give an example of another website (with the initials e.b.a.y.), I can watch up to three items, and specify the time period for which I want to be notified, and no matter how many times I look up those notices, I will always get a notification until the time period runs out.
Am I doing something wrong, or is that just the way it works here?
I looked at my watched topics list and was amazed at how many times I list the same thread.
