When you apply a topcoat to the model, do you mask the canopy or just spray right over it? I’ve never applied one, and am going to spray a 1/48 Gee Bee with Future when I finish it, and need to know if I should glue on the canopy first or wait until I’m done spraying.
actually read this and all your questions will be answered… if you are spraying future you are safe… in fact you should try some of the techniques in the web site… like actually DIPPING your canopies in future before you glue them on…
here’s the web site:
Well how about flat topcoats, do you spray them over canopies as well?
I don’t… and I don’t think you would want to one purpose… there are those that say Future will re-gloss a dulled canopy but I woulnd’t want to chance it in the last stages of the build.
I would just leave them masked until the last coat of everything goes on and then take the mask off…
