Top Gear - Cheap Police Car Challenge

This is James May’s Lexus LS400 he used in top gear’s cheap police car challenge. British police spend a lot of money buying Vauxhall Astra, so TG wanted to know if a cheap car would suffice as a police unit. They were each given 1000 pounds to buy a car and convert it to a police vehicle. James bought a cheap but luxurious lexus and added police livery, but couldn’t get a siren, so he used one from an ice cream truck.

Mine is based on the 1/24 scale LS400 by tamiya and build box stock, with home printed decals, which unfortunately ran where the clear coat didn’t hold.

Hammond’s Suzuki is possible as there’s one available from fujimi, but there’s no 1/24 scale 94-99 Fiat Coupe available.
