I have had bad luck with decals lately. I was wondering, how soon after applying can you spray the future top(final) finish?
I am up against a deadline for the Butch O’Hare show this Saturday and need to finish up my PV-1. I really don’t want to make a stupid mistake now! Thanks!
I let them dry overnight at least, especially if I have used decal solvent. Can’t hurry decals!

If you don’t use solvents or setting solutions, then you can overcoat when dry. But dry, of course, depends on local humidity. I blot decals with Kleenex to speed up the drying. If you use setting solutions or solvents, then for sure overnight, or maybe 12 hours if you do the decalling early in morning.
