Too much solvent?

Most of my decal experience is with small decals for jets. I got a Burago Porsche model at Goodwill for practice on large decals. I think I used too much solvent because after I let it dry for a day, most of the decals still have a bunch of wrinkles. Also, I have two different solvents, Polly S and Badger. I was using Polly S. I have a NASCAR I want to build as a gift and I don’t want to jack it all up.

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Yes, occasionally decal solvent will cause decals to buckle. Usually they will settle down after drying, but not always. Thus, I do not use solvents as a matter of course. I use setting solution first. Only if the setting solution just will not get the decal down properly do I resort to solvent. The solvents are very extreme solutions- use only as a last resort. Big difference between setting solution and solvent.

I just wanted to say that I laughed out loud at your avatar, dude. Thanks for that. [B]
