Too late to fight GB 2010 (Update 27/05/10)

Ok seems theres some interest in this so im reworking the rules.

  1. Aircraft only

  2. Must have been intended for one war but didnt see combat till the next (eg bearcat made for ww2 but didnt fight till korea)

  3. Any Scale

  4. As much after market as you want.

  5. Pipe dreams and paper ideas welcome (eg Ho229)

  6. Start Date NOW End date. Last entry in by Christmass Day (December 25th) Last Finished model End of Febuary (Gives final entrant 2 months to build)

This GB will be fairly open and free. and the main idea is to have fun with some aircraft that may have not met combat or didnt reach their intended TO.

Let me know what you want to build and ill put you down in the list

Any war.any aircraft that was designed for a certain war (eg ww2) but didnt make it into combat till the next one (eg korean war)

Maybe i should include, this includes aircraft variants. So for example the mkXVI spitfire (i think that was post war)

Well I could fwd a B-52 (built for cold war nuke delivery, bombed in others) I picked up yesturday if you get enough for a build.

depends on the end date… already a lot of GBs for 2010. Only A/C? I have the tamiya shinden I can build.

If the end date is later in the year, I’d be in. Monogram 1/72 Bearcat. Problem is this build is very similar to the WWIII build going on right now.

I’m an idiot. I meant the Endgame 1946, which has been over since dec 2009. Maybe make the end date near the end of the year?

well if we’re talking a late finish date i could be tempted, i’ve been wanting to build another vampire since a was a kid!!

is this GB happening? I have the same Panther I had planned for Endgame 46 and never started

seems some people are interested (more so than my Rocket GB) so im gonna have a play around with the rules and see whos interested.
