…outstanding, I almost built the miserable Maqueete (SP?) Flakpanzer 38 (t) Sdkfz 140 a few months ago—I love this vehicle!!! A lot of these were used in Normandy with the 12th SS…

The Tristar entry into the 38(t) M chassis opens up all kinds of possibility…I wonder if a Marder III M and a Grille M will be coming next? They already have the AFV Club PaK 40 from the Marder III H, so my money would be on the Marder III M being around the corner.

YEAH! Forget my conversion attempt, I’ll use the Tamiya Marder III M elsewhere and toss the Alan Gepard…can’t wait for Tristar to release this kit!

Looks like a Porsche KT w/ Zimm is also on the horizon from DML. Lots more as well from the different manufacturers as you scroll down the page.

35035 Flakpanzer 38(t)

Looks like a winner !!! ^

I also notice the Porsche zimmed KT already has Volstad box art…

I noticed some big pin marks on the inside faces of the armor, and the fold line on the sides doesn’t look to pretty (although someone may have just used too much glue)

Still, it looks much nicer than the Alan dog.

I like this one. All I need now is a glue girl to help me put it together.

This looks nice.

The AFV T-34 looks awesome, except it comes with one-piece tracks.

Dragon’s Tiger I w/zimmerit also has the one-piece DS tracks. Zimmerit looks really nice though.

Never tried the DS track, I’d be willing to give it a go though.

Porsche turreted zimmed offering has the alum barrel? wonder why the Tig I does not.

the ds tracks are pretty good. okay 94/100 rating

DS tracks…bleah. Maybe ok for beginning and intermediate modelers, but if you’re going for show quality they just don’t cut it. No space whatsoever between the links, more of a scribed line effect. Try the Karaya metal tracks, they are EXCELLENT, even better than Fruils.

Ok, I have enough kits to build for the next 40 years at the rate of one per month, but whats a few more…

I’m really interested in both the Tiger I with zimmerit, and the 6 Day War Centurion! [8D] [:P]

LOL!!!

Have a read here and have pity on me:

Roy, Roy, Roy, Roy,

Do you really want me to make a joke about not being able to finish what you begin. The number and quality of double entendres rivals the number of variants of the Panzer III and IV. Not to mention your unfortunate use of Stickpusher’s original text.[:D]

This is what happens when you take the time to make rivets and weld seams for the sub-assemblies of the parts that won’t be visible in the final build[:)]

You need to think less Chuck Close (http://www.artcyclopedia.com/history/photorealism.html) and more Monet (http://www.artcyclopedia.com/history/impressionism.html)

(just be happy I didn’t say Picaso)

Short attention span? [B)][;)] I’m trying to get all my in-progress ones done, so I can focus on one at a time and hopefully finish more builds.
