I’m not sure if any of you follow the on-line comic, Get Fuzzy, but today’s (February 11, 2008) comic is particularly appropriate for this forum.

Yep, there is an awful amount of truth in that one. My only plank on frame model (a Baltimore clipper) was totally wrecked by a little hell-raiser kid just before the last piece of halyard was run up. It was never reconstructed and I threw it out in disgust.

So far, I’ve been pretty lucky about my models, but I keep them in an old hutch so they’re protected from kids and cats.

I don’t remember giving the OK for a picture of my cat to run in the paper …
