To spray or not to spray ?

Hello all, I just picked up a new comp. and think I might get a new ab as well maybe the Iwata HP CS. Do you veterans out there spray things such as gas cans, helmets, gear and equipment or do you use a fine brush ?

If i have a lot of fuel cans or other equipment to paint i’ll usually use the AB . I stick them on masking tape and then tape that to a square of foam or cardboard and space them apart so i can spray all of them at the same time . For smaller equipment such as rifles i use a brush , I’m talking about 1/35 scale.

I spray most everything and brush the details.

I noticed that some paint looks more flat if airbrushed. Paintbrushing it will give a shiny look to the paint. It is not really a problem if you spray a flat coat at the end but I thought you might like to know.

Personally, I try to airbrush the most I can do.

I AB as much as I can. My AB is a Badger 100G.
