j/k…nice work!

Very nicely done!

The blending and your color margin is very impressive. I especially like the clouds on this one. I have found that drawing and painting planes are more trickier than most other subjects and you seem to have gotten the nack.

Thank you for posting

Ah, I wish I could paint. I’m an art major in college (currently going for my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts), but painting is DEFINITELY not my concentration. I’ll stick to drawing, thank you very much.

Looks great. I second the quality of the clouds- like water, they seem to be easy to do (having so many variations), but are in reality much easier to get wrong. I think you nailed the “right” way to do it.

I think the problem with aircraft is the precision needed to render them. With the wings, tailplanes, and foreshortened fuselage, everything needs to be exact to look “right”. Add to this the fact that many aircraft differ in relatively minor ways does not give you any leeway in rendering them. Subjects such as landscape are a bit more forgiving. Not so much here.

But I digress. Wonderful painting. It’s a pleasure to see.

Very nice art work. Thanks for sharing.
