Hey guys,…over in the “Suggestions and Feedback” forum, there’s a thread going that you should check out, under “Idea for a New Forum” posted by “Tango 1”. You all really go over there and weigh in on the subject. To avoid getting a “cross-pollinating” thread going here and prevent having people’s opinions being heard over THERE, lets not respond here, OK? Maybe just a few confirming that they’ve posted there to keep this thread near the top of the page so that it gets people’s attention?
I personally think that the idea is a bit “hair-brained”, but if it does go through, it’s going to totally change the dynamics of this whole website–and not for the better.
That one kinda just ticked me off. As I know what s/he was referring to. I kinda went off on the guy. To be honest though, I really don’t feel bad about it, like I normally would. As the type of person who whines about why can’t I tell him he sucks and show my own superiority, doesn’t belong on this forum. If they create that new forum, and then stop feedback on models everywhere else. i can say this, my subscription will be canceled, and I will no longer come to this forum.
I no longer purchase scale auto or go to their forum because the editor Jim Haught is a similar type. Dictator, and if your opinion doesn’t match his, or you point out some facts that are not jiving with his personal opinions he bans you. Or at the very least he bashes on you and your build. I even wrote to Kalmbach, and their response was tough luck. If they keep with that kind of attitude and let it spread to here, then they won’t last much longer in the hobby world. Thankfully though over here at FSM, we have Matthew Usher as an editor, and a much better staff. I realize Matt does work for SA, but I think he’s the exception and not the rule for SA. I would hate to see FSM go the way of SA. SA has lost over 500 readers and members last year due to Dictator Haught’s BS. Please Mr Usher keep up what you are doing and take ZERO advice from the Dictator over at SA.

That’a a bummer about SA; I feel bad for guys like you who have had their enjoyment from that site diminished because of that dude. I must say that Matt Usher is doing a great job–and he’s been a heck of a good guy in my correspondences to him. HAIL, MATT USHER! LONG MAY YE REIGN! [(-D]
