Hi Ben, Nice site you have there. Oh, BTW, I’m from Cebu

Hi sigman, don’t you have modelers cub their at Cebu, send me your e-mail address and post it our group mail.

Ben

[8D]Hello! I am from Quezon City. I build ships and armor most of the time.

Noel [:D]

Hi, I am Dwight from Pasig MM. I do 1/35 Armor and 1/72 A/C.

Ben, my e-mail address is sigman@skyinet.net and we dont have a club in Cebu. In fact I only met a couple of modelers. The only hobby shop that sells plastic models is the Stars & Stripes which is the dealer of Tamiya. Sad to say that Tamiya Philippine Manufacturing Plant is based in our MEPZ and we dont have a club here. BTW, I am into WWII armor and A/C. Hi also to Noel and Dwight.

Hi sig, Noel is our head honcho of IPMS Manila, why don’t cebu models form a club, Davao City is alreay starting to form theirs and would like to coordinate with us in the near future, its a lot of fun to have a club , the knowledge and skill transfer and the camaderrie and brotherhood.

Hi Dwight,

Nice to know you, do you belong to any club? Visit our site at www.geocities.com/ipms_manila

Ben

Ben, I’ve been trying to coordinate with the only hobby shop here in Cebu to organize one. Will let you know should there be any developments.

Hi Ben,

No I am not a member of any club yet. I have been into models for only about more than a year now and have done only a few models. I consider myself a beginner in the hobby with still so much to learn. Some IPMS members have already invited me to join their respective clubs but I have not really decided yet. I am still giving it a thought.

I have already visited the IPMS Manila site and it’s great.

Thanks.

Hi Dwight,

Been to your website, for a beginner your works great, we will have a monthly meeting on the 25th of this month at 4th floor of College of Architecture, U.P. Diliman around 1 pm, you’re cordially invited to observe, there will a clinic/demo on airbrushing/painting, come and share the fun in group modeling. For membership forms, they are available at all Special Toys Center stores, Virra Mall, Ali Mall, Rustans Cuba, SMNorth Mall, SMFairview and Isetan Recto

Ben

Sigman,

will try to find ways for plastic models from other manufactures reach your place, am just waiting for the go signal of owner of Special Toys to put his merchandise on net,
keep us advised on your plan to put up a club,

If you need advised let Noel and me know.

Ben

K, will do Ben and thnx

I’m from QC, Metro Manila, and i build mostly 1/72nd scale WWII bombers… but, I’ll venture into any subject matter for as long as i’m interested. [:)]

By the way, you may want to look up Delta Dagger. As i recall, he’s from Cebu too!

That affirmative Shrikes. His real name is very familiar to me, will try to contact him. BTW, is the hoby at greenhills still there? I’ve visited it and the name of the shop is Special Toy and they have old kits. Also, I would like to know who is the dealer of Iwata airbrushes in the Philippines?

Sigman: Yeah, Special Toys in Virra Mall is still there (the sales people must be really annoyed by me)… They do have a respectable line up of kits some unusual too! Also quite a few gems, depending on what you’re looking for… Example: an Accurate Minatures A-20 Havoc (SWEET!!!)

Iwata airbrushes? I’ve heard that the Gunze Mr. Hobby Airbrushes that you find in Special Toys Virra Mall are Iwata reboxes… I dunno if this is true…

Hello to my kababayans!

Welcome to the Forums, kaibigan!
