i have a 1:350 scale tirpitz that needs some paint(scheme)
how would u paint over all the details(and mask them)?
and was the tirrpitz from WWII or WWI?
tirpitz is WWII. use masking tape or liquid mask, and spray the larger and med. size areas wih your airbrush. if you don’t have one, use a rattle can.
The key to painting a camo scheme like Tirpitz, is work in sub-sections. The hull can be masked and sprayed conventionally, but you’ll really need to spend some quality time masking the superstructure areas. Small pieces of tape, cut to shape and laid in place, before you attach the superstructure to the deck.
Work on one section at a time, otherwise it becomes daunting.
