Does anyone have any tips they wouldn’t mind sharing on the best way to detail tires? I mostly use decals, but I’m getting very short on white Goodyear decals. So, I was thinking of painting the tires by hand. I was hoping some of you might have some tips you could pass along. Thanks!

On a regular street car, I wouldn’t normally mess with the lettering on the tires. But, I’m working on several stockcars and some funny cars. So, I need to do the lettering.

I think there is someone out there who makes dry transfers for tire lettering. You might want to post the question on the Automotive section. I’ve got some old decal sheets, I’ll look to see if there are any tire stencils.
