As the subject says, has anyone used Archer’s resin rivet decals? If so, any pointers that I should be aware of? I am going to be using them on the flat bottom of a racing car, so at least my first try will be fairly straightforward. I am hoping the decals work well, as I have another project that will require a considerable amount of rivets.
I have used them, but couldn’t get them to curve around corners like their instruction video shows on youtube. Basically apply them like decals, I had success on straight level applications with future clear as the wet medium on the model’s surface.

Thanks Jack! I noticed in the instructional video that the guy used scissors to cut rows of rivets off the sheet. Would a straightedge and knife be better, or would that risk knocking off the rivets? I don’t have any confidence in cutting nice straight lines with scissors.
Can use both, but for longer cuts like single rows, it’s easier to see what you are doing with a knife and straight edge. Trying to hold a thin strip and trimming with scissors would be difficult, unless you are cutting directly from the sheet and working from the outside edge.

Jack
I noted your comment about curves , Now , it seems that I had no problem there . My problem was getting them to settle down on some surfaces .
