I have some resin aftermarket guns for a Ju-87 I’m working on and the barrels aren’t quite straight. Not horrible, but it would be nice to straighten them out a bit. Anyone have any tricks other than bending them by hand?
Thanks,

Not sure how big these pieces are but here’s what I’ve done.
Thick and heavy. Heat water to near boiling and immerse the piece. Have a straightening jig ready. Clamp the piece in and immerse in cold water until cool.
Medium thick. Immerse in hot tap water until heated through. Again, have a jig ready and immesre in cold water.
Thin and delicate. Less heat, maybe even a light bulb. Gently bend with your hands and lalow to cool. I just straightened a coupe very curved 18th century 54 mm muskets this way.
Repeat each of these steps as necessary.
Thanks ajlafleche, that’s very handy. I hadn’t considered using hot water
