Would it be possible to tape the area off before drybrushing?
Got any pics?
I tried that I still messsed up as far as a photo I will try to get a photo but I can’t promise maybe if I primed it first the photo might come out

both good decal places to start.
Use an Optivisor. That’s really the only way. Use enamel paint, and thin it slightly before applying it. Cut your smallest brush to three or four bristles if you have to. That’s how I paint my smallest details.
I use a toothpick. Dip it in paint and then wipe most off on a paper towel, then roll it over the raised surface.
cool never thought of that thank’s do I tape off around the letters first and use the middle part of the tooth pick or the ends
ok thank you
Look out suppliers of Photo Etched bits for 1/43rd scale models. You may find something there.
