how and what are you using to make your buildings?
-SSpanzer,
Testing Site for Badge link
All I see is the dreaded little red ‘X’ box.
Just finished making a Squadron order for some materials to use in my Tiny Dio. My original idea has been slowly evolving, including its title. I’m going to throw another SdKfz 251 into the scene getting filled up with petrol from a drum with a hand pump and I’m going call the dio “Shadetree Garage”. I’m getting some 1/72 scale road/military signs, a German fuel set and a Squadron Publishing, SdKfz 251 in Action reference book to help get the tiny details right.
Looking forward to getting started on this one!
Eric
All I see is one ugly red X!!! Those things can be your worst enemy.
Oh yeah! sspanzer, the peices for the buildings are from a plastic base for a car display thing. The plastic is thick, but easy to cut through. The windows and doors all were cut from solid peices.
Hey guys, Hows it going? I’ve been working hard lately, (12 hours, every day…) I haven’t had much time for building, or updates, But yeah…
Aric, have you finished working on the badge yet? If not, best of luck!
It may be a while until I get the chance to update this GB again so don’t anyone hold your breath!
Need pointers… the prelim badge is on a MSN Groups website as follows:
http://groups.msn.com/PacificNorthwestModelBuilders/sitegraphics.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=35
This one is very jumpy, but I have a smoother running one (more frames) almost done.
Anyone know how to get the link to work?
maybe if you do the [ img ] [ /img ] things, but no spaces between the [ and the i and same with the g ].
I have yet to get my SU-85’s.Anybody got any info on them?
too bad it looks cool! ill have progress pics pretty soon on my dio![:D]
Trying the link again… but no, there are no spaces… Me follow directions good, boss.
mutter-grrr-mutter-mutter
Count me in, though I’ll probably not get anything done until near the end of the build.
I’ve got a plan to start selling small scenic bases made of plaster of paris and this will be an ideal way to work on them. I’ve customised a couple of 1:72nd Cararama vehicles in the past and they’d look good on simple street corner bases. Once I’ve got those done I’ll probably move on to something much more detailed.
Sounds good. I’ll include you in!
Aric, The badge looks gread from what I can see, but yeah it’s too fast almost to read. Good luck on it though, I don’t know what to suggest, so I’ll sit and think…[B)]
Well, I finally got some pics together of what by build layout looks like. Don’t worry though, I will add far more to it than what’s present. The tanks also will be facing the other way, and the green marks are where the railway tracks will be.
Enjoy…
As for the badge link, I have my signature link working out of an MSN group album, so just need to take some time to experiment and get the badge working right. And the more refined version up as well, of course.
Alright… got the final copy of the badge uploaded to the MSN group site… trying here to see if it works…

ahhh heck, I guess I have to get another place to store these things. Seems my signature pic comes through fine, but this one’s being a real pain.
Sheesh, if only computers that are built to simplify our lives actually simplified them.
My fingers are still crossed.
Well heck… anyone here wanna adopt that badge? Here’s the link at least…
