tinting cockpit windshild

Hello fellow modellers

Does any one know how to tint a cockpit windshield from the out side, because it is allready glued in place and a part inside shifted on me and I need to hide it now-thank you

Mask and lightly apply the appropriate Tamiya transparent color. Smoke or green. Better than anything else I have tried. Once it is dry seal it with Future again, spray light thin coat.

Airbrush the Tamiya tranparent paint on. You’ll have better control over it. If you get it too thick, use a bit of Windex on a Q-Tip and dab it away. Good Luck.[tup]

I’ve also tinted Future with food coloring when I didn’t have the needed tamiya color. It’s kinda like 2 steps in one. Just put some future in a cup, add a drop or two of food coloring, mix it really well and spray (or brush) on.
