Tinting a canopy to hide a mistake

Hello

I recently put together an A-10 Warthog 1:72 scale. I am in the process of redoing it because I don’t like the paint scheme I used.

I messed up the canopy and it has a blurry look to it when you try to look in the cockpit. I can’t remember exactly how I screwed it up but it was either with glue or pledge future floor finish

My Question is, Is there a paint I can tint the canopy with so it does’nt look so blurry. I saw a picture where the cockpit on an A-10 was tinted blue. Could I use a Tamiya Clear Blue or is there another way I can cover up my mistake.

I want it to look realistic though.

Any Suggestions?

If you Futured the canopy remove it and give it a bath with some Windex to remove the Future. If you used acrylics it too will remove the paint.

Once you have the canopy stripped, you can polish it back up and redip it in Future. Why do cosmetic fixes…ugly goes down to the bone. Fix it the right way.
