I´m currently working (since 2 years) on a Model of a CVE in the scale of 1:72.
One of the few things I need to know is if anyone gots a picture or maybe plans of one of those famous crash-crane or “Tilly” which was used aboard those smaller Carriers. Any help would be great.

contact any of the Carrier groups and they will be glad to send you pictures of what you’re looking for. Also you can contact the defense dept and submit a request for documentation and you will get color photo’s of the tilly.

What year and model?
The Tilly I´m looking for is the one which was used 1944 - 1945 onboard the smaller CVE. In my particular case I´m building the CVE-26 USS Sangamon.
Any information anout this would be great
