Tigers Over China

I just received a new book from Squadron called, Tigers Over China, The Aircraft of the A.V.G by Thomas A Tullis. This is a very comprehensive and complete reference source for anyone interested in the P-40s flown by this group before they were inducted back into the regular Army Air Force. It has 85 total pages of photos with captions, 7 pages of color photos, 8 pages of color diagrams/paintings and the rest B&W. It is nearly all photos with only a couple of pages of text. Most of the photos are good to excellent quality, with only a few being blurry and of minimal usefullness. I highly recommend this book

edited addition: This book is published by Eagle Editions & is Eagle Files #4

Sounds like a keeper… I for one will check it out.

Are you sure you don’t mean Eagle Editions and not Squadron? If so, this book is, indeed, one of the better pictorial and informational references on the AVG. Combined with the Osprey book by Clements, any AVG guru would be more than satisfied…

Fade to Black…

Sorry for the misleading statement. Yes, this is the Eagle Editions, Ltd. Eagle Files #4, that I purchased from Squadron Mail Order.
