Does anyone got any info on the tiger Ferdinad porche type? Italeri has one out and it looks like a tiger but its different , i could use some links to some pics and such, is it a prototype?
If you are talking about the Tiger (P), I recommend that you get the DML kit. IMO, it has the better detail and is more accurate than the Italeri kit. I sold my Italeri kit after buying the DML kit and comparing the two kits. Here are a couple of links:

its the prototype for the tiger 1. its one of the ugliest german tanks of ww2 in my opinion.

According to the info from Italeri’s instr. sheet the Ferdinand Tiger was equiped with an electric drive system and was tested against the Henschel design. The prototypes were converted into the Elefant-Tiger.I built this kit (278) and it’s soft on detail and the tracks are two piece per side.
there both different types
the Italeri one is a VK.45.01(P) that was a prototype
the Dragon kit is of the Tiger(P) that was used with the Elephants of the Schwere Heeres Panzer-Jaeger-Abteilung 653 on the Russian front, it had a normal Tiger turret and a higher roof
