Tiger I's in the Bulge

I am working on a large dio taking place during the Bulge. I have a tiger I model that has been sitting around for about 6 years that I want to use.

The info I have found so far places the 506th in the Ardennes with Tiger I’s brought back from the east.

Can anyone shed any additional light to verify that this wouldn’t be a glaring error to show it in this setting? I’d like to confirm their participation and move on to specific ground units that would also have been in the same area as well as a town/village setting.

The plan so far is white wash over a yellow/brown scheme.

Thanks alot,
jason

there were Tiger 1s in the Ardennes
both of the 506 tigers were early tiger they are Ex-kompanie Hummel tigers at Geilenkirchen numbers 407 with steel wheels and 111 maybe steel wheels

According to the Osprey Campaign series, there were around 200 Tige I’s in the Ardennes. I have seen photos of Pz Abt 506 Tiger I in the Aachen region prior to the battle.
I did some research into the battles around Foy/Bastogne and Tigers would certainly have taken part there.
Hope this helps

theres another one 411 still eary tiger with steel wheels

That helps alot, thank you.

this is the stack of German armor and figures that I pulled out of storage the other day. I had no idea there was so much in there.

The Tigers a good kit
