Tiger II cupola bolts: how many?

Hi, folks![:)]
I’ve never considered myself to be much of a “rivet counter,” but I do want to know how many bolt holes to drill on my Bovington Tiger II’s cupola opening, which is cupola-less.
The only ref pix I have only show about 1/3 of the flange that accepts the cupola, and based on what bolt holes I can see, I reckon there are 12 evenly spaced holes (later versions featured welded cupolas with no bolts.)

If anyone has any good references that indicate the number of bolt holes, I’d greatly appreciate the info!

Try emailing Charles Lemons, the Patton Museum curator. They have the cut away Tiger II sitting in the museum. He may be willing to count for you when he takes a stroll around the exhibits.

I think will work for you.

if you send an email to Bovinton and tell them what your doing they might help you out (i would hope)

Hi, Jon! I received both pix, and they’ve helped tremendously.
I’ll drop Bovington a line, too!
Thanks for all your help.
