Nice looking King Tiger with very restrained weathering. [tup] Not too sure about the positioning of the balkenkreuz and vehicle number but I am not an expert on this subject [:)] The shell impact on the turret side is very nicely executed !

Nice KT for sure.
This is one of the marking options in the Dragon, pre-zimmed KT kit, which I believe this is…and I have seen it in refs…
Nicely done…lighting is a bit harsh and is washing it out a little…inside of loaders hatch appears grey??? Overall, [tup][tup]
I like how you weathered underneath the tank and backside of the roadwheels too! [tup] Very nicely done!
Realy nice build I espeshaly like the rusted spare track[tup]

Hi, Rodolfo, your king kitty looks just great, congratulations on a super build and finish.
Terry.
hi Rodolfo, another beautiful build. I like the camo and the streaking you did. Very nice. I do think you overdid the blackening of the barrel however, for the consensus says it’s more arty then accurate. The spare tracks look like they’ve been sitting for years and as we know, the KT was only the war for about a year. Please don’t take my comments aas a knock, but rather an observation. I too goofed on the barrel on some earlier builds.
Very nice King Tiger you go there!!!
[:D] Thanks for your kind comments and observation friends!.
Regarding the black of the gun and tracks. I cannot found my first photo but, here another; I have 2 or 3 pics more with the same effects

Rodolfo
Nice work on your KT Rodolfo! I think what you’re seeing in the photo you posted is the effect of a partially whitewashed barrel combined with shadows/lighting and not something you would see on a normal KT camo pattern as you have it depicted. The setting in that photo is definitely winter as evidenced by the snow/frost on the ground in the foreground and the winter gear worn by the two individuals visible.
The gun barrels were painted in a dark gray heat-resistant lacquer as their primer coat when they left the factories so it’s possible that you would see a dark gray barrel on a vehicle but seeing one half painted and half exposed would indeed be unusual IMHO. Never say never of course with German armor though! [;)]
I agree with Eric that the rust is a little too heavy on the spare track links but having said that you did achieve a nice texture/coloration there. Look forward to your next project! [tup]
