Here’s pictures of the Tamiya Tiger I did a while back. It’s got the Cavalier zimmerite and JR barrel. Any coments good or bad are valued.

Looking real good Matthew. Thanks for sharing the picture. I like the Zim.

Well done job Matt. Really like the camo and the subtle weathering. Curious though, you got the Cavalier zim, but on the Elefant you hand did it. Did the Tiger intimidate you? I know it would me.

A really nice late Tiger Matt, one thing I would suggest is that when you apply your wash, make sure you remove the excess, as along the gun tube and on the stowage box you can see the “wash lines” from your application. A litle more drybrushing on those cables and pioneer tools and track would help as well. A solid build and a real winner.

Thanks for the feedback from everybody. Eric, I had bought the Cavilier a while back, and I just used the sets I had left. The Elefant has the bolts on the side, and I really wanted to tackle the problem/challenge by hand. Steve, you got me there. I did not notice wash lines untill after I sealed with Dullcoat. That really seems to bring it out. Then I really saw it in the picures as you did. I now know to pay closer attention on the next one. On the drybrushing, I’m still working on different shades, intensity , without over doing it.

great job! especially on the tracks! I hope mine turns out half as good.

Excellent build. Thanx for sharing with us. Bryan

I’m working on the same project and will try the zim by hand. Good job!

Hi Matt,

veeery nice matt very nice indeed especially the zim and camo. big thumbs up in my book.

Gosh what a good looking build Matt! You’ve done an outstanding job on the camo colors, and blending, which can be tricky on zimmerit. Just a real strong build! Thanks for sharing with us. Semper Fi, mike
