Tiger Exhaust???

Howdy Guys (and Girls?)

I am working up a Tiger I for my Normandy diorama. I figured it might be fitting to put a Tiger sitting in front of the restaurant with a few of the German Paras sitting around jawing and smoking.

So, given this is my first Tiger (that makes me a Tiger Virgin, doesnt it?)…the exhaust on the rear of the tank…does anyone have any photos of that area on a Tiger? Im wondering how sooty it would get. Im a pastel soot guy, so it wont be too difficult, but it seems like there is an extensive filtraton system and I wonder how bad it got.

It doesn’t look like the twin exhaust got too sooty on the outside. Just inside the exhaust covers along the top. Osprey does a modeling manual on the Tiger that is really nice.
